About Us
Highland Construction has been adding square footage and peace of mind to homes around the region since 2011. We're not the flashiest crew out there, but we show up on time, we finish what we start, and we don't disappear the moment the final nail goes in. Your addition becomes part of your home — which means we treat it like it's ours too. That's the difference between hiring a contractor and hiring someone who actually cares about the work.
Over time, we’ve built a reputation for reliability, quality, and clear communication. We treat each project as a partnership and aim for outcomes that last.

Our approach combines proven methods with modern tools. We start with discovery, align on goals, plan clearly, and execute with quality checks at every step.

Our Core Values
The principles that guide everything we do
Show Up
We arrive when we say we'll. Tools ready. Crew focused. No excuses about traffic or 'something came up.' Your schedule matters.
Build Honest
We use quality materials. We don't cut corners where you can't see them. If something costs more but lasts longer, we tell you upfront.
Communicate Clear
You won't wonder what's happening or why. Weekly updates. No hidden fees. If problems pop up, you hear about them first.
Finish Strong
The job isn't done when we leave. We stand behind our work. Call us in a year with a question? We'll answer it.
Our Story
Back in 2011, our founder noticed something frustrating: homeowners either couldn't find reliable contractors, or they hired someone who disappeared after the inspection. So he started Highland Construction with one rule — do the work you'd want done on your own house. Fourteen years later, we've added rooms, sunrooms, and whole second stories to 347 homes. We've stayed small on purpose. Bigger doesn't mean better when you're building someone's dream addition.
Meet Our Team
The people behind Highland Construction
Marcus DeLuca
Founder & Lead Builder
Spent 19 years in residential construction before starting Highland. He still works on every major project. Obsessive about details. Makes a mean coffee on-site.
Sarah Chen
Project Manager
Keeps schedules tight and clients informed. She's talked homeowners through every phase of construction for 9 years. Patience is her superpower.
James Kowalski
Head Carpenter
Twelve years with us. Can frame anything. Knows how to make additions blend smooth with older homes — the tricky part most people miss.
We’re a team that values ownership, clarity, and growth. We celebrate wins, learn fast, and keep client outcomes at the center.
